OBJECTS

Surfaces without the walls.

Quiet Giant Objects is an ongoing collection of architectural artwork, furniture and material studies exploring texture, proportion, negative space and shadow.

Pieces are created individually or in limited quantities using clay, plaster, wood, Richlite, tile and other architectural materials.

Designed slowly. Made in small numbers.

ARCHITECTURAL WORKS

Studies in surface, form and shadow.

A series of dimensional wall objects created using architectural forms and hand-applied surface finishes.

Openings, recesses and overlapping planes allow light—and the wall behind each piece—to become part of the composition.

No two surfaces are exactly alike.

FURNITURE + FUNCTIONAL OBJECTS

Material studies made useful.

Furniture and objects developed from the same materials and architectural language found throughout Quiet Giant's surface work.

Tables, stools, trays and occasional pieces pair tactile finishes with wood, Richlite, stone and metal.

Produced individually and in limited editions.

LIGHTING

Objects that change the room.

A considered collection of lighting chosen for its form, material and relationship with the surrounding architecture.

Quiet Giant lighting focuses on sculptural fixtures that feel as intentional when switched off as they do when illuminated.

HARDWARE

Small objects. Big difference.

Hardware is one of the smallest elements in a room—and one of the easiest ways to change how it feels.

Quiet Giant selects knobs, pulls, hooks and architectural hardware with an emphasis on material, proportion and tactile experience.
